Indiepaper for macOS

Indiepaper LogoIndieWeb Summit 2018Β took place a few weeks ago in Portland, OR, and my project on day two was to create a service called Indiepaper, which is a "read it later" service for the IndieWeb. Indiepaper makes use ofΒ Mercury by Postlight LabsΒ under the hood to extract article content and then publish it to a MicropubΒ destination for later reading. Indiepaper is open sourceΒ and is deployed on AWS LambdaΒ using the Zappa framework. The Indiepaper websiteΒ includes a tool to create a Bookmarklet for your web browser, and a Workflow for iOS that adds system-wide support for sending links to Indiepaper.

In order to make Indiepaper even easier to use, I created Indiepaper for macOS, which adds system-wide sharing support for Indiepaper to macOS. Here is a quick video demo of Indiepaper for macOS in action. Indiepaper for macOS is also open source, so feel free to poke around in the source code, and submit pull requests if you have improvements!

Regarding Together

Very successful dinner! The burgers were seasoned and cooked sous vide at 130 F for three hours. I made some bacon, and used the rendered fat to cook down onions and garlic. Then, I cooked some egg yolks confit in truffle scented oil using a sous vide bath at 150 F for 1.5 hours. Finally, I seared the burgers in bacon fat, layered on the bacon and onions, followed by some smoked Gouda, and put them under the broiler. I served the burgers topped with the egg yolks.
