Sorry for the noise earlier, Micro.blog friends. I have added automated tracking of my video game habits to my site - https://cleverdevil.io/content/play - but forgot to filter it out of my Micro.blog feed.

For Micro.blog users using micromemories to create an "On This Day" page, I've added some clarification to the README for users with custom themes – https://github.com/cleverdevil/micromemories#requirements.

@benwerd Two thoughts: 1. Micro dot blog is a great, IndieWeb-friendly platform that is accessible to consumers. Not fully there yet, but a good model. 2. I like the idea of something like serverpilot.io, which separates the underlying infrastructure from the management.

Similarly, Micro.blog users may have noticed issues with my microgram project, where photo grid pages wouldn't display some photos. This is caused by an upstream issue with Micro.blog and image thumbnails, and is being worked on!

Any Micro.blog users that were noticing problems with my micromemories project for creating an "On This Day" page, I finally tracked down the issue and deployed a fix. Let me know if you still run into issues!

Micro.blog suggestion for @manton and crew – consider adding emoji tags for discovering women, people of color, etc. to follow!

Thanks for all the recommendations, folks! My Micro.blog timeline is looking more diverse already. πŸ˜πŸ‘±πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ§•πŸ»πŸ‘²πŸ»πŸŽ‰

Hey, Micro.blog! I want to diversify my (largely white, straight, male) timeline. Help me find new voices that will enrich my perspective with their points of view! Any recommendations?

So, Micro.blog community... any other requests? These little projects are fun!

I built a little extension to Micro.blog that lets you easily add a photo grid to your website. Thanks to @manton for making Micro.blog extensible! – Β https://github.com/cleverdevil/microgram

"As WordPress continues its move toward becoming SquareSpace, Micro.blog just keeps becoming a better blogging platform." – Jack Baty on Micro.blog couldn't be more right! I'm increasingly recommending Micro.blog over WordPress for bloggers.

Thanks to @CultOfMac for their article on using Indiepaper with Micro.blog!

Helping my dad, @IntlBuzz, get set up with a Micro.blog account.

I have started to think of Micro.blog as a wonderful discovery and aggregation service for the IndieWeb. It fits neatly into my Microsub reader, enables me to find new people to follow and interact with, and integrates perfectly with my website through Webmentions. πŸ‘πŸ»

This is precisely why I prefer Micro.blog’s model. It’s decentralized for individual websites, but centralized from a network perspective, enabling strong community guidelines and enforcement.

That said, there has never been a better time to join the and Micro.blog has made it easier than ever before. I can’t recommend it enough.

If you're using my service to generate an "On This Day" page for your Micro.blog site, it's now an order of magnitude faster thanks to optimization. To see the benefits, you'll just need to have posted recently! - https://github.com/cleverdevil/micromemories

Hey, Micro.blog users! I built a way to add an "On This Day" feature to your website. I've put it on @cleverangel's site at http://cleverangel.org/on-this-day, but you can (in theory) use it too! Instructions here - https://github.com/cleverdevil/micromemories

My goal? Get people off of Facebook completely, and back onto the open web, where they're in control. I highly recommend Micro.blog as a great place to land! Using https://github.com/cleverdevil/ditchbook, you can even move your data πŸ˜€

Thrilled to see @manton added experimental support for Indiepaper in Micro.blog! Give it a try, folks, and let me know what you think.
