Sifting through the notes and videos from #IndieWebCamp Austin, and really wishing I could have attended! Lots of awesome information and details. I'm especially interested in @manton's progress on Micro.blog. – https://indieweb.org/2017/Austin
Can all the people I care about on Twitter please just go ahead and join Micro.blog so I can stop checking Twitter? 😜
Congrats to @danielpunkass on the launch of the new MarsEdit! Support for Micro.blog is awesome. My request? Support for Micropub! I’d love to use MarsEdit to write status updates, bookmarks, likes, reposts, photos, and more on my #IndieWeb website 😀
I think I’d use the Micro.blog iOS app for status updates exclusively if it supported Micropub syndicate-to. @manton has done a great job making an attractive and functional app! Looking forward to continued evolution.
This Micro.blog photo challenge is pretty fun 😀
I'm *thoroughly* enjoying having a native macOS app for Micro.blog.
Using the Micro.blog macOS app in full screen, splitting a space with Tweetbot in multi-column mode, is a perfect way to enjoy the IndieWeb :)
Enjoying the new macOS client for Micro.blog. Good job, @manton! Excellent start. My biggest request across the board is the ability to provide `syndicate-to` targets for my website, which supports Micropub.
Made a quick change to my site to directly ping Micro.blog on updates. Bypasses my need for WebSub, which seems sort of flaky at the moment.
The more I read my Micro.blog timeline, the more I think @manton should add oEmbed and URL unfurling. Lots of people posting links, and the reading experience would be improved. Putting the onus on the client software isn’t going to work, IMO.
Changed up my Micro.blog feed to include more types of content, including bookmarks, likes, posts, checkins, recipes, and watch notifications. Looking good so far! 🎉
I'm starting to think that the biggest way to encourage engagement on Micro.blog would be to add `repost-of` support. On Twitter, I frequently discover new users/content to follow by seeing what is amplified by my current timeline. /cc @manton
Anyone want an invitation to Micro.blog? Ht me up!
Also pondering how to best present @-mentions across the IndieWeb and how they should be represented in Micro.blog. Curious to hear your thoughts, @Manton. Thinking my extensions to JSON Feed may be useful, here...
Hey, Micro.blog's latest iOS app seems to be able to publish to my website via Micropub! Nicely done, @manton.
Looks like I spoke too soon. Micro.blog handles photo posts with titles now, but seems to not embed if you include any content in the body, which Known let's me do.
Awesome! Micro.blog now properly embeds photo posts on my timeline! Micropub still doesn't work yet from the iOS app to Known, though. Still, progress!
