OK, not everything was perfect the first time around, and I am guessing things aren't perfect now, either, but it's good enough. Still working on things like backfed interactions using Brid.gy and fiddling with webmentions, but I'll figure it out later.

Note
Netflix’s password sharing system is really irritating if you split time between two cities. I get what they’re trying to prevent, but it is incredibly inconvenient for legitimate users. Being chained to home internet makes Netflix into old school cable TV.

If I could only have one of those two? I'd take sideloading. I am all for Apple policing its own store, but leave room for devs and users to explore. You already have notorization as a mechanism to block baddies.

There are rumors of Apple loosening its grip on iOS in 2020. I'd love to see the ability to change default apps (mail, calendar, etc) and an official way to sideload apps. I think the former is likely, the latter isn't.

For the curious, I used Sukrin brand sweetener, which is largely erithrytol with a touch of stevia. It’s quite nice. I used their brown sugar replacement to make a BBQ sauce and it’s quite satisfying.
Note
I made myself a keto-friendly boiled custard for dessert tonight. I floated two meringues on top of the chilled custard. Delicious! Next time, I may make it into a pie with meringue crust.
