If I was in charge of Apple AI, I’d pivot to third-party models with large context windows, and put my attention on MCP servers. Tiny startups like Sky are running circles around Apple with this strategy.

Was thinking about Apple’s botched AI strategy. I don’t think most businesses, even Apple, need to build their own foundation models. It’s a distraction. The value is in the user-facing features.

Update on the post-Arc browser hunt. I’ve been using Zen a lot, and it mostly holds up as a solid replacement for Arc. Unfortunately, it has a few issues that are potentially deal breakers for me, the primary of which is lousy cross-device sync. I’m going to give it another week.
