I heard a lot of suggestions from people for 1Password as an MFA solution. Honestly, I rarely use 1Password anymore thanks to iCloud Keychain and its tight integration with iOS and Safari.

Same. Everything outside of native has clunky af integration

Yup! I totally agree. Honestly, I'd love it if I could use Apple's built-in iOS MFA stuff for everything else. Its wonderful in comparison to the rest.

I’m hoping they open it up the way websites can use Apple Pay, we can just auth to websites

That would please me so much. Especially with Face ID being so awesome now.

Is it working well for you? Haven’t tried an X yet

Its wonderful. So many little details that they got right. Face ID isn't *perfect*, but its better than gen-1 Touch ID. Its almost like not having a passcode at all. Amazing.

How’s the notch? Stopped noticing it yet?

Honestly? I hardly notice it. Its totally, 100% fine. Was mostly curious about it in landscape with video, but in practice, almost all video is at an aspect ratio where the notch is hidden.

That’s awesome. I was thinking about jumping into the next gen one to let design patterns develop a bit more but maybe that’s unnecessary
mpirnat would prefer banning Nazis too, thanks

I had a less-than-great experience with iCloud Keychain so pretty glad that 1Password meets my needs.

Really? How long ago? I’ve had splendid luck.

I mostly use 1Password. We’ve got a Family subscription to share logins for things like utilities, kid’s healthcare login, and other stuff we both use. I usually let Keychain manage my logins, but add/update them in 1P as prompted. Will be free w/ eero next month, too!

Good point on family stuff, that is a problem for my family. It’s only free with Eero plus, which I don’t subscribe to (yet). Still, iCloud Keychain convenience is so much higher!

With covering the 1Password Family plan, eero Plus is only net $40/yr. The ad blocking more than makes up for that, in my opinion. If not, the free VPN makes it free (if you use the VPN, anyway).
