Note
Was about to give up on my Osaka stainless steel coffee filter, which was so clogged that it was ruining my pour over brews. Turns out, a good soak in diluted vinegar and dish soap cleared it right up! Good as new. ☕️

Does that thing change the taste of your coffee compared to paper filters?

Yes. You get a bit more “oily” finish than you would otherwise. I find it pleasant. Others don’t. I think it’s a personal taste thing.

I have this set, which looks nice on my countertop: amazon.com/dp/B01LXDGLGK/…

That looks slick. I have one of these Clever drippers that works extremely well.

Just serviced my hi-end unit from Portland. The diagnosed malady? Mineral build up - calcified the spray head & the water reservoir. Remedy? Monthly de-calcification soaks. “Always pass on what you have learned ... Happens to every guy sometimes this does”– Yoda
