What is everyone using on iOS for MFA? I've been using Google Authenticator and sort of hate it. Taking recommendations!

I use @1Password - MFA plus passwords

Yeah, I've sort of been losing interest in 1Password lately. iCloud Keychain is so much more convenient. Wish it was just a frontend to that!

Does Dreamhost support other authenticators rather than Google Authenticator?

@cleverdevil I use 1Password's built-in MFA feature with good results. (I just saw @hjertnes recommend it in another M.b conversation as well.)

@douglane @cleverdevil So far so good using 1Password. (See micro.blog/jack/1982...)

When I bought my new phone I moved everything to Authy from GA, since I don’t like to keep my OTP in my password manager and it was the only manual step in migrating my phone.

@cleverdevil I, like everyone else, have been using 1Password since they added the 2FA/MFA feature.
I love it, and have never had a problem on any platform.

@adamprocter Yeah, they added it a couple of years ago, I believe. I was using Authy before that, but I love having everything in one place.

Now that 1password does it, I just switched to that. I got tired of migrating any time I switched phones or upgraded OSes.

enpass supports TOTP, as does FreeOTP from RedHat

I use Authy, supports Google Auth codes and Authy codes, which cloudflare and others use

Google auth, but don’t love but I don’t have a big use for this app.

@cleverdevil @douglane The 1Password 2FA feature is awesome. They sync everywhere with a 1Password app and they are even shareable if you are on their Team / Family plan.

Authy. I dumped Google Auth years ago... they have a desktop app that syncs with it too.

Duo Mobile is all right. It bothers me that none of the apps I've tried know how to export/import properly when moving across phones.
