"As WordPress continues its move toward becoming SquareSpace, Micro.blog just keeps becoming a better blogging platform." – Jack Baty on Micro.blog couldn't be more right! I'm increasingly recommending Micro.blog over WordPress for bloggers.

@cleverdevil Thanks for sharing this. Even for my personal site, since I don't have any specific edge-case uses Micro.blog just works.

@simonwoods don't thank me, thank @jack! I totally agree that Micro.blog is evolving in ways that matter to most bloggers, while WordPress continues its shift away from blogging and toward site building and SMB use cases.

@cleverdevil Don't get me wrong, I still think WordPress is overall a good thing. It's just no longer centred around blogging, which isn't sudden but never more true than now.

Micro.blog
@cleverdevil I held my nose and fired up a self hosted Wordpress install to play with micro.blog but I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how good it’s been.
