I find it truly obnoxious when I make an appointment with my doctor, and they just sit me in a room alone for 45 minutes before finally showing up. So disrespectful of my time.

Time for a new doctor then. I'm sure if you were 45min late to your appointment, they'd charge you for missing it.

Same. Only doing early-morning appointments helps!

Yeah I think I’m gonna switch. So obnoxious.

This is why I love @onemedical. On time appointments, and the doctor comes to get you from the waiting room. I show up a couple minutes early and am talking with my doctor less than 5 minutes later. Amazing.

Heavens forbid if you arrive even 1 minute after checkin time and they just cancel your appointment b/c you were a no show. I've had that happen before too.

I agree. I also understand that it's almost certainly not the doctor's fault. Yet another of these "change the system" problems.

I have that “beat”: Tuesday I waited 2x as long (yes a full 1.5hrs) to be seen ...Needless to say I’ll be finding a new ENT.

+1, i hate it when doctors mistakenly think their time is more valuable than mine

Bill them for your time. I’ve done it in the past. They have a contract with you not the other way around. I also agree early morning appointments are the way to. First to be seen.
