Note
I’m absolutely flabbergasted as to how Apple doesn’t have a competitive offering in the space. A skinny, over the top bundle with Apple’s user experience would be much preferable to the current options.

IIRC they tried and got sort of screwed out of it by content providers who didn’t want to make Apple the gatekeeper for video the way the record industry did with music.

Yeah I have heard the same, but the competition is ample at this point. No reason not to let them in the game!

Or, Apple could just use its mega horde of cash to buy Hulu, Sling, or another content provider!

Hell, T-Mobile is launching a service soon via acquisition.

@mikehaynes I suppose. I honestly think they just need to use their cash and buy Hulu, Sling, or another player. If the networks won’t negotiate, just buy the rights and establish a presence.

@cleverdevil We tried Hulu in our house a year or so ago and that was my first thought as well.

This post reminds me of how @NolanCumulus got big laughs recently by saying that the most @Apple thing he'd ever seen was how they somehow managed to body-shame laptops into being too skinny for useful ports.
