My only beef with the new iPad Pro? No headphone jack. I didn't really care on the phones, but am sad to see it gone in this device. Minor nit, though, to be honest.

I don’t mind the lack of a headphone jack so much as I wish more headphones worked with Apple’s improved pairing system.

Yeah this new iPad is mind-blowing. I haven’t used a wired headset outside of recording podcasts on the Mac in years so I’m not super concerned about it, but can understand how some people might be disappointed.

@cleverdevil Wh not get the USB-C to 3.5mm headphone adapter. Myself, I do not thing I have plugged any audio device into my iPad pro. I have always used Bluetooth. The 3.5mm jack is just another thing that cannot be waterproof and can go wrong with repeated insertion/removal sequences. Eliminating the jack increases the MTBF of the unit.

@jeffmc I'm fine with having (yet another) dongle, but waterproofing isn't really a priority of mine when it comes to iPads. Phones, sure, but not iPads. I'm an audiophile, and while I love my AirPods, I prefer to use my wired headphones for watching TV, movies, and listening to music whenever possible.

@cleverdevil understood. I use my iPad for creating things and sending silly emails to employees ;)
