Note
Someone needs to take a truly fresh approach to web browser UX. Separation of work/personal identities, "project" spaces with collections of windows/tabs, new models for organization beyond tabs (they scale terribly), privacy toggles, more!

@cleverdevil Yes! And the ability to save & restore those collections!

Pictures (photos, drawings, screenshots, etc.) could use a kick forward too. e.g. Why, when I take a picture, can’t I immediately attach a textual or audio note that’s searchable later?

Firefox w/ multi-account containers and tree style tabs seems like about as good as you're going to get here in 2018.

Firefox is the only one even trying, as far as I can tell. But, I’d like to see it be more mainstream and accessible.

@cleverdevil have you seen Vivaldi? Your post reminded of an Ars article about it that I skimmed a while ago: Vivaldi 2.0 review: The modern Web browser does not have to be so bland

@fcy indeed. I’ve tried it, and while it has some interesting features, I didn’t find it to be particularly usable. Maybe I’ll take another look, it’s been a while!
