There’s no doubt that this initiative, if truly about reducing costs and increasing quality / coverage, has the potential to improve the lives of those with employer-provided healthcare. But, what about those that have to buy on their own?

@cleverdevil I'll argue if the US healthcare system goes away from the profit-motivated middleman, then individual buyers benefit, too.

@kitt I think I agree with you. That said, I believe healthcare is a human right, and while lower premiums for individual buyers is helpful, it still doesn’t accommodate extremely low income people.
