@smokey believe it or not, they’re stars! I think iOS “night mode” makes them pop a bit more than in reality.

@cleverdevil Ah! I may have realized that if they were higher up, but they seemed too low (I wasn’t taking the sea into account). I think that’s the brightest I have seen stars in people’s night mode photos so far; they really do pop!
