Dearest followers, I’m curious if any of you have experience with the new Bose Noise Cancelling 700 headphones. My AirPods are dying, I find them fiddly, and am unhappy with their longevity. Considering the Bose cans as an alternative.

@sku_b they’ve got a long history and lots of fans. But, I hate the way they look, and they’ve fallen pretty far behind the competition with features. I’m curious if the new, significantly more attractive 700 series lives up to the title of “successor.”

@cleverdevil Try the Sony equivalent (WH-1000MX3, rolls of the tongue I know). I was considering the Bose, but the controls, sound and overall build quality won me over.

@cleverdevil I bought a pair a couple months ago to replace my busted Beats.
So far I love them. Bose nails comfort. I could live without touch controls on the headphone, but despite my paranoia about accidentally triggering something, I rarely do
