I remember being so drawn in by The Matrix. I felt seen. Yes, Morpheus, I do feel different. I feel misunderstood. Am I special? Am I the ONE? Looking back, I’m somewhat ashamed of being drawn in. I think of the young boys being tempted by the message of the alt right.
