I’m a big fan of Apple’s trade-in pricing and Upgrade Program on iPhone. Why don’t they offer these programs for other products? I’d gladly participate for Apple Watch and iPad Pro as well.

Are you on iUP? I’m joining this year but lost the option to do iUP when I selected a trade-in. Selling my XS Max to @gazelle as usual this time. Not sure why other products don’t support this. They all hold their resale really well. Maybe harder to turn around?

Yes I’ve been on the program since its first year. I love it, but do wish that they’d bundle even more in with it. I want a single monthly fee, subscriptions to iCloud, Apple Music, TV+, Arcade, iPhone, iPad Pro, Watch, and more :)

I’m happy to finally be on it. I think @TMobile just started supporting it with iPhone X? Crazy that it required carrier support. Never signed up because I had lost one of my credit bureau unfreeze PINs. Saaaaaaaaame on it including more. One big monthly payment for everything.

I am T-Mobile and have been on it for ~three years now. I remember the first year I had to jump through some hoops because they didn’t fully have things integrated, but its much smoother now. I still think they should let Upgrade Program members pre-order before everyone else.

That timeframe makes sense. Looking forward to joining. Pricing is almost a wash compared to buying full price, selling, and upgrading (which I’ve been doing since first gen.). I’m happy enough with the pre-approval. Assume it’s just a couple quick taps to complete it on Friday.

Don’t forget you only pay for ½ of AppleCare+ if you trade-in each year! That’s a win for me. I’m fine with a 5 AM pre-order time, honestly. Not that big a deal :)

Hey check out apple.com/giveback - although there isn't an iUp for watches and iPads, you can trade them in towards a new device.
