So happy to have fixed the family iMac. After some research, I think I’m going to dive in and replace the hard drive with an SSD to extend the life of this machine a few more years. It’s a shame that I’m stuck on High Sierra, though.

That’s something I’ve thought about doing with a 2012 Mac Mini I have, but the fact that it’s also stuck on High Sierra makes me wonder if it’s worth it. 🤔

@EddieHinkle I saw a video yesterday that may help you upgrade it to Mojave. Unfortunately, my iMac isn’t supported due to the video card :/
