The latest price increase from @Hulu on their Live TV service has pushed it beyond the cost for traditional cable or satellite TV, with significantly inferior video and audio quality. I’m back on the market for an alternative. Suggestions?

Either Tablo or HDHomeRun w/Plex. Unless you want actual cable channels, in which case I am no help.

the challenge is getting live “broadcast channels” (ABC, CBS, NBC) ... would love to know what you end up with

@cleverdevil I literally just went back to Spectrum, since it’ll be cheaper than any other local TV and internet combo I can do here for three years. Never thought I’d go back to cable.

Honestly I’m good with over the air for the networks. I just need ESPN. There are a few “nice to haves” like Discovery, History, etc.

@sku_b it’s wacky that I’m even considering the same! I’m also on Spectrum for Internet.

@cleverdevil Same. I’ll probably go back to Sling TV (I need ESPN et al) but I might keep Hulu in cheapest form (for access to their original shows)

I’m open to it, but not particularly excited about giving more data to Google :)
