That picture quality looks great given the amount of ambient lighting. What’s your setup?

I just upgraded to an LG PF50KA. It’s shockingly good for a small, battery powered projector. 1080p and 600 lumens, which is good enough for outdoor movies in the dark. The screen is from Amazon and I adore it. Super easy to set up and break down. Brand is JWSIT.

Nice. Amazon has that at what seems like a reasonable price. Battery powered is nice too, seems great for outdoor/summer. We’ve tried doing summer movie nights but our projector is barely visible unless it’s nearly pitch outside, which is like 9pm :p

I got it refurb on Amazon for $420! Super cheap. Added an extended warranty to be safe. Love it. The built in WebOS is super old sadly, and LG won’t update it. If they would, it’d be basically perfect. Instead, I just plug in my iPad Pro which is fine.

Oh, I like the tripod mount for the projector!

A recent, but important, investment! It makes a huge difference. Setup is way faster and less fiddly with a nice, sturdy tripod.
