Of all the objects in my possession, perhaps the most ridiculously Jonathan one is a preposterously overpriced doohickey for making perfectly clear cocktail ice. I do cherish it. I do.

While I do not own such a device, I'm nerdy enough (and/or have listened to enough circa-2013 podcasts) to know a brand of one by name. Is it the Studio Neat ice kit?

Hilariously, it is not. But, only because after owning it, I knew I needed to upgrade to something better! Mine is called the Phantom Ice Maker from @Wintersmiths. I adore it.

Macallan sells a ridiculous one for $800 if you are in the market! (or you can get a silicon mold for like $4.....)

@cleverdevil Slightly embarrassed to admit that I have one too. Also a tray for ice spheres (rather than cubes). And light saber shaped icicles that fit in the kids’ water bottles. I have this weird affinity for The Perfect Ice.

@fgtech it’s so good! I have four different trays for it, but I almost exclusively use the sphere tray.
