William dropped my Nintendo Switch in the toilet yesterday, insta-killing it. The good news is that Nintendo apparently will repair it for $100 plus tax and shipping.

@Burk yes! Now I just hope we don’t lose all of our saved data. We had some pretty strong Pokemon trained up ;)

@cleverdevil wish they did the same for the darn pro-cons, I have probably spent twice as much in controllers cost than the console itself.

@cleverdevil That seems like a good price for the repair. Good to see another company treat a customer well. Here’s hoping the cloud has your data!

The fear of breaking my Switch is one of a few reasons I don’t play it as much as I’d like. Not enough games with cloud saves last time I looked.

Well I’m hoping that they repair it and send it back with storage intact. I really don’t want to have to beat Super Mario Odyssey and Pokemon Sword again.

I hope so, too! Neither have cloud saves? I do love Nintendo’s commitment to repairing their products though.
