Just returned from a screening of Elvis on the Warner Brothers lot. After was a live Q&A session with Austin Butler and Baz Luhrmann. What a movie! Enjoyed it far more than I expected to.

@jonathan I was quite surprised by it too. The first 30 minutes were fatiguing but it was worth sticking out. It practically becomes a horror movie in the third act! And Baz Luhrman might not be “the best” filmmaker, but at least he’s _expressive_ in a way that few directors have the courage for these days.
