Oh cool my parents landed today from Atlanta and my dad tested positive for COVID on arrival.
We have a cursed Christmas, folks.

@jonathan Oh nooo! That means he had to have been infected before he even got on the plane, because there is a 3-5 day incubation period. If he wasn't wearing a mask, he probably infected others on the plane. When my daughter visits me, she gets a PCR test 3 days before coming here, and the day she leaves. She usually drives here, but if she flies, she wears a mask the entire time. This is why I won't travel on airplanes any more. #Covid covid

@terihannigan yeah, he did a rapid before he left and it was negative, and was wearing an N95 respirator on the plane thankfully, which drastically reduces the risk for other passengers. When I fly, I test the two days before departure and mask in an N95. May need to shift my perspective to PCR tests before I travel.
