A cultural difference I am noticing between Bluesky and Mastodon is that Bluesky is a place that people come to be outraged by current events, to make fun of “the other side,” etc. This definitely makes it a better *replacement* for Twitter, but it doesn’t really make it better *than* Twitter.

@cleverdevil I actually find Twitter less toxic at this point. I never had issue there. But I don't follow politics. Unfortunately, everyone on bluesky seems to only talk politics.
@jonathan it’s interesting how much mastodon people feel the need to compare it to bluesky… do bluesky people do that back?
