@cleverdevil he’ll be Hamilton’s replacement at Mercedes when he finally calls it a day. It’s his only real option.

@philbowell easily the best fit, but I don’t think the timing will line up. Charles’ contract at Ferrari ends in a few years, and I bet Lewis will get a big new contract imminently. If he wants to bail sooner, he could do worse than Aston, who has demonstrated that they can produce a great car.

@cleverdevil fair comment. I agree on the Lewis timing, it’ll be interesting to see how many years his new deal is for. Aston is a good shout, I think he would want to see them deliver a car of similar performance next season to consider them though.
