The Mandalorian appears to have gone completely off the rails at this point. I’ll finish out the season, but it’s going to have to work to redeem itself.

@cleverdevil just watched the latest episode. Compared to Andor, this is not a great show. Become geared for kids.

@kaa @cleverdevil well, it's had a for-kids angle since people got stupid over un-named 'Baby Yoda' (at least, if not intended from start...) but the last episode was (clumsily) moving toward some kind of narrative arc by setting up the goal of a "Retake Mandalore" campaign (and opposition by ex-Imperials including Gideon )

@SciPhi @kaa Its basically Muppets in Space now. But, it isn't even doing that well. I see where they want to take the narrative, I just wish that they would have kept the vibe of S1. Oh well. Hopefully there will be an Andor season two! :D

@cleverdevil S1 set the tone for SW tv series. I think shit went south from the Boba Fett storyline.

@kaa @cleverdevil while everything you are saying is true, I’ve been enjoying S3 more than both S2 and Boba Fett… it’s just dumb pulpy fun, a nice refuge from everything trying to be so serious and “prestige”.
