Time for your regularly scheduled COVID update. After my five days of Paxlovid, I got a few promising tests, but yesterday I started to feel bad again, and today I tested fully positive again. This sucks.

@jonathan sucks you got a rebound. Happened to my partner, too. I got lucky.

@cleverdevil I rebounded 7 days after I finished my Paxlovid. Thankfully was very minor but still annoying to my family.

@cleverdevil Take good care of yourself. It totally sucks, but the second round is less intense (or was for me anyway). I mostly worked through it (while keeping a distance from others) and it passed for good before too long. Fingers crossed that this wards off long COVID.

Oof, sorry to hear. :/ I've seen some research that the JN.1 variant is showing peak symptoms a few days later in the infection. No idea how/if that interacts with Paxlovid treatment. Rest well!

@fgtech thanks! Honestly, after the first day or two on Paxlovid, my symptoms have been super manageable. That’s what it seems to be best at - mitigating symptoms, not shortening duration. The rebound is very different from what I first experienced. Now it’s almost all congestion.

@Vittorino good to know that it’s not just me!
