We have a garage door opener from Chamberlain that has been working well with HomeKit through a Home Assistant open source integration. Unfortunately, Chamberlain decided to shut it down. Thankfully, there is an amazing device from Meross that bypasses Chamberlain and works great!

How was the install?
@cleverdevil why did you pick it over iSmartGate?
@Vittorino someone in the Home Assistant forums recommended the Meross and I grabbed it. I didn’t even look around for other options.
@Vittorino @cleverdevil I found the Meross opener because it uses Matter for HomeKit integration. I have been very impressed with mine. It’s not clear from their web site if the iSmartGate uses Matter.
