Note
Y’all, its race week. I can’t believe its finally here! I am optimistic that the Scuderia will be improved on race strategy and reliability. I think they should close the gap to Red Bull, but it will be tough to improve on P2.

@jonathan Heard some scuttlebutt that Ferrari ran heavy on fuel all of testing, so maybe some pace yet to be shown? Fingers crossed for a fight up front #F1 f1

@schneeks I heard that as well, and I am betting its true. I saw an analyst that said, on balance, he thinks that Red Bull will be ~0.3s faster per lap than Ferrari out of the gate, which would still be a strong start. I expect Ferrari will still be better in the slow corners, and Red Bull on the straights, which should lead to some serious battles depending on the circuit.
My biggest concern at the moment is tire deg. Sounds like that may still be a challenge with the SF23.

@cleverdevil Yes! I’m hoping for the same things for Ferrari! 🏎️

@cleverdevil any news on if Lance Stroll will be in or out for the first race for Aston Martin?

@jasonekratz nothing official, but it seems to be trending toward the third driver taking the seat for the first race at least.

@cleverdevil I think that 3rd is Seb filling in unless something changed ;) This is great tho. Two races to watch that day (I’m and Indycar guy)
