I wasn’t particularly fond of LOTR: Rings of Power in its first season. While pretty, the writing and pacing let it down. I’m pleasantly surprised by season two thus far.

@jonathan S1 definitely felt like the “first ~100 pages” of every big fantasy novel that are always a slog, no matter what, and now we’re past that and things are moving.
