The new Kaleido 3 color e-ink screens look amazing for reading comics, but not a single device out there has adequate storage. Maybe there is some weird option from China on AliExpress…

@cleverdevil Colour eink? That definitely sounds pretty inteserting! Eventually onto a Kindle, that would definitely be worthy of an upgrade…probably the biggest upgrade since 300dpi on screens….but damn if that technology evolves slooooowwwwwly

@kaa it’s been slow for years, thanks to Amazon’s success with the Kindle, and their ability to sell it at low margins to own the market. Things are finally changing. The Kaleido 3 tech gives 300dpi in B/W and 150ppi in color. Boox has a few devices with it: shop.boox.com/products/...
