Took the kids to see Inside Out 2 tonight. What a fantastic movie. The level of care taken to capture big, hairy emotional concepts like anxiety and sense of self was impressive. I’ve never seen as effective a presentation of what it’s like to suffer from anxiety.

@cleverdevil Sounds very much like a movie that I should go see. I haven’t seen the first one yet either.

@odd ooh! The first one is also amazing, you should watch both. Be warned, though, the first one has a moment that is absolutely brutal emotionally 🥲

@cleverdevil I’ve yet to see Inside Out 2 (hopefully soon!), but I thought Ted Lasso (S1) did a great job with the depiction of anxiety. Have you seen that?

@jarrod Ted Lasso did a very good job of capturing anxiety as well, it just did it from a different angle. Unsurprisingly, given the title of the movie, Inside Out focused on the internal aspects of anxiety while Lasso was more concerned with the external impacts.
