My weekend coding project is a wrapper for ffmpeg that makes it easy to do hardware accelerated transcodes without the need to be a wizard. Part of a broader thing that I’m almost done with!

@boopboop That is certainly *a* tricky part. So is HDR, the massive variety of permutations of container format, audio/video codecs, and parameters to tune quality. There’s just too much. I’m mostly trying to scratch my own itch, which is primarily that Plex’s “transcode and download” feature is shit.
