CANES WIN!!!! Stuff of legend!
Sleep is not an option. Pouring a bourbon to celebrate one of my favorite all time Canes wins. Reminiscent of Wide Right, Wide Left, and Dorsey to Shockey.
"We need every single one of you to develop your talents, skills and intellect so you can help solve our most difficult problems. If you don’t do that – if you quit on school – you’re not just quitting on yourself, you’re quitting on your country." Thats not indoctrination – thats much-needed inspiration for young people everywhere.
"The time for bickering is over. The time for games has passed. Now is the season for action. Now is when we must bring the best ideas of both parties together, and show the American people that we can do what we were brought here to do."
is off to LA tomorrow with the ShootQ team.
Ugh. So depressed. Nothing like coming home to foul smell, muddy carpets upstairs (we just had them cleaned), torn out carpet downstairs, ruined furniture, and a sinking feeling that there is nothing that you can do to make it better. Prayers would be appreciated!
Dehumidifier is running. Odor absorber is in place. All belongings sorted into "keep," "sell," and "pitch" piles. Tile guy is coming out Monday to take a look. Exhausted but we are makin progress!
Refreshed after a weekend of connecting with my church and exploring the idea of "community." I thought I knew what community was, but I was so wrong!
is headed to Seattle tomorrow morning to show off ShootQ at a Dane Sanders workshop. I'll be there through Friday AM. Should be fun!
The benefits of flooding: we get to redo my office, the guest room, and the guest bathroom. Thanks to Shaun and Katie for recommending a great tile guy, who has excellent prices. Off to the Floor & Decor tonight to pick out tiles!
Tile purchased. Work scheduled. Looking forward to not having all our possessions piled up in the dining room and having an office again! Good work Lacey :)
