TL;DR: find the docs for a library new to the model, merge into a single file and prompt the model to provide a *complete* version that is as concise as possible omitting features that I don't need, use the output as an input to a new session preserving context length for actual problem solving.

Continuing to refine my dev workflow with AI assistants:

1. context windows are larger now, but not infinite
2. training data lags reality, meaning the model needs support
3. models are *very* good at summarization

Given these inputs, I've landed on an approach that is bearing fruit.

Note
The Internet Archive is a critical public service, and frankly I think the ephemeral nature of the web is an antipattern from its academic origins. I would like to see the IA publicly funded and guaranteed by as many countries as possible.

Incredibly productive and gratifying few days in Chicago. My first visit to the mothership post-acquisition. The folks I will be collaborating with are incredibly smart, and it’s clear that I have a lot to offer because of my cloud experience.
